Positive: I loved everything about the property! The location, the beautiful outside and the gorgeous inside and also wonderful hiking in the area

Negative: The only thing that I can say that I would have liked different is the menu. I know the menu is posh and old world, but for someone who is allergic to shellfish and would like just one course meal, I found it sad I had to go somewhere else and have my dinner.

Summary: Highly recommended an absolutely fairytale experience!

Positive: Wonderful staff in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The location is superb. The hotel itself is a fascinating building- architecturally unique; it’s full of interesting artifacts and pictures which the very knowledgeable staff are only too happy to describe/explain. Dinner was wonderful - three courses was absolutely more than enough! Breakfast was equally good. We were only there for one night but wished we were there longer

Negative: Difficult- but a kettle and or tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be great but we appreciate the difficulty of providing this in an historic building.

Positive: Very nice setting. Had a night stop and wish we could have experienced the sauna and lake. Wonderful table and welcoming staff. Nice lounge and music. A very nice experience.
